Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

But the concensus on the Pacesetter is that its cheap and will rust out in a couple years as well. TruBendz piping quality is amazing, especially if you go stainless.

I dont know where people are getting this "pacesetter rusts out" stuff from but Pacesetter lasts just as long as regular aluminized steel exhaust... meaning it should last you about as long as your stock exhausts.

And Pacesetter comes as close to sound qualities as Borla imo.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

Ive had my pacsetter for 1 year now and theres no rust or corosion. And the car gets drivin all year and they salt the crap out of the roads in PA over the winter. Its aluminized tubing just like the trubendz, its just also painted black. I belive the rust issues was with the previous generation's tips. They have new tips now that stand up better.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

Maybe thats what people were talking about when I was on a local forum and asking about it. But i'm also from Maine, where the salt trucks are out just about everyday lol. How is the PS fitment compared to TruBendz?

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

It fits perfect, Uses factory mounts for the hangers and factory holes in the body for mounting the tips, the only issue I had was getting the old exhaust off.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

I ordered my exhaust from trubendz a few days ago. It should be here Friday. I bought a dual stainless steel borla. You guys are all making me nervous now that its going to be too loud. It hope it isnt my car is stock performance wise besides this when I get it. Ill let you know if I think its too loud.

Not to invade this tread but..... does anyone have a pic of the hanger they made for the second tip? I am going to be tackling this myself when I get it so some sort of reference would be great.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

Not sure if the tip itself has a hanger, but the kit comes with hangers seperately that you have to weld on where you want them. Get an intake and it'll deepen the sound, maybe a bit louder, but a better louder.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

Gave the thread a quick read, Dynomax!! its really nice, on my cardomain page 2 i believe I have exhaust clips of a dynomax cat back with the main car removed and a resonator, and the last clip is with Weapon-R headers. It sounds nice but when you gun it, it soudns nice and mean.

Re: Question on best performing and low noise exhaust

I would have to second with Magnaflow. I have had mine on since the summer and its been perfect. Take the stock resonator off, put in place the magnaflow, and i chose to go the dual tip route, and you have it made!
