Re: MSDS headers

Just so people know. Marty at MSDS litteraly made the headers. The guys at Nautilus own a shop and are more or less a "retail" store for them. Both great to deal with though. And like someone else said, you can always ask for the grassroots sale from Marty. That is a basica basic basic set of header and that is it. No coating, no gaskets, no mils, nothing.

Re: MSDS headers

and thats all the 220 or whatever from NPG. gaskets i'd get from ford, mil's you can make your self for 2 or three dollars,coating...1500*hightemp gray or black paint...they'll both last about the same amount of time. just call marty and order the headers,or headers and ypipe would be ideal.

Re: MSDS headers

FYI we've had issues with the gaskets that Nautilus sells with the headers. One of our customer cars blew both gaskets out after a month. I'm not really sure why because we've run those gaskets on other cars without any issues. We switched to metal gaskets on his car and it's been great since. All cars we've built since then have been with the metal ford gasket just to be safe.

I am going to assume that it was a foam like gasket? I had one like that on my Talon and needless to say, it wasn't the greatest thing on the planet.
