Question Re: Exhaust Thread

I looking to install a dual exhaust system on my cougar, but im not a fan of the can type mufflers. does anyone know a setup with magnaflow or flowmasters that sounds good on a 2.5L? my friend has duals on a v6 mustang that sound great but im not sure the smaller 2.5L will sound as good.

Re: Exhaust Thread

The dual exhaust set-up from Trubendz does not come with the can type, and comes with a choice of a mid-muffler set-up between borla, magnaflow, and flowmaster. You can get the can type from Trubendz, but their most popular kit is the mid-muffler.

Re: Exhaust Thread

okay guys. i have found my true love in terms of sound from a 2.5 liter. write this down and do it now.

k&n FIPK, optimized stock throttle body, gutted precats, flowmaster trubendz till the gas tank, then hacked and a magnaflow oval shaped tip dumped out in front of the back tire.

this is the recipe to sex on wheels.

this is magic to my ears.

no joke sounds like a srt-4 with an exaust till 1500 rpms then a raped ape duratec to 7

pics will be up tommorow

a little distorted ear sex for ya. side pipe FTMFW!

I'm with you...It looks good but that would be pure sex coming out through the body maybe an inch above the bottom lip. I do tip my hat to you for going where only a couple have gone before.
