Re: Exhaust Thread

Stock Precats, High flow main cat, no resonator, 2.75" piping, 40 series flowmaster. After the takeoff, wait a minute and i do a pass in 2nd gear full throttle. just to get the full sound.

Re: Exhaust Thread

On my car I have the Cat-Back 2.5" Flowmaster dual exit. Sounds nice to me.

But my friend had a 98 SVT Contour and he had the mufflers and resonator cut out and replaced with just pipe and his car sounded mean as hell.

Re: Exhaust Thread

I'm not sure how to embed videos, but here's a quick one of my 2000 Cougar V6, MSDS headers and Y-pipe, Trubendz test pipe WITH cat, and Trubendz 2.5" Stainless Borla Dual Exit.. Enjoy.

Re: Exhaust Thread

Would just any type of rubber exhaust hanger work for replacing the ones on our cars? Mine on the back of my car has just about bit the dust
