    gas mileage??

Right now im getting an average of 17.6 mpg. To me that seems kinda low and i think i should be getting a little better gas mileage? I don't have any engine codes or nothing, and all i have done to my car is intake and exhaust. Do you think i should be getting better gas mileage?

    2.5 5-speed

    thankss

well it all depends on how you drive, when i drive nice i get 25 and, kind of nice 18-20. But if I constantly punch it, i've had it down to 13. Highway I just hit 35 yesterday. So yours sounds right, it just depends on how much your on the gas.

Try not to rev it past 3800 and keep those secondaries closed, that will save you some gas milage.

My God son, 13? But yeah, be easy on the gas pedal and you should bump up to around 25MPGs. I have a LOTTT of mountains around here that I have to go up and down and I'm getting 26.5MPGs and I have the 2.5L too with a MTX. I'm constantly shifting. Might want to check your air filter too btw. But I'm sure you already know that.

That seems a little low. I typically average between 20 and 25 over a tank, depending on how late I've been to work that week

FYI the 13 is more of a fill up gas and reset then drive it like its stolen for 15-20 min. It comes back up eventually but my average is about 27mpg

    Re: gas mileage??

I drive 80 miles round trip to work 5 days a week, all highway driving with a 2.5 Mtx. I generally get about 28-32 mpg with my avg speed being around 70-80(depending on traffic).

10!! thats nuts! you should check/ replace: spark plugs, airfilter, oil change, Seafoam treatnment, any CEL's?, your main cat could be clogged too (i think)

also, how do you drive? where do you keep the rpm's, are you always driving the crap out of your car?
