that upgraded oil pan

so whats the install like on the upgraded oil pan.. i think my oil pan gasket is failing

not tto bad at all, you just have to pull the ypipe and then pull the bolts. not a bad job at all

oh i thought the subframe had to come down... what involved... just drain the oil and drop the pain then swap and replace?

^^^ Pretty much, the escape pan i think needs an extra litre tho. You just drain, unbolt the screws, y pipe will probably have to come off (might want to replace this at this time, msds) Simply replacing the gasket and bolting it all back up..

Does anyone know the shop labour cost on this. Since i have to do mine in spring......

Shop labor should be no more than one hour.

The 3L Escape pan requires no more oil than the old pan. Still 6 qts, some throw in an extra .5 qts for "peace of mind" when running the 2.5L heads with only 2 oil returns...

whats my cheapest option... the escape pan or the upgraded one from bill J (id need to buy a gasket either way)

If you get the most recent one it will come with new bolts and the integrated gasket
