So I went to buy a SVT UIM/LIM from a wreckers down in flordia and got a perty good deal ($305 USD shipped) so I get them and its the stock ones(explained all of this in another thread)
I was going to call the junkyard after work when I ran into this dude my brother works with (hes got a crazy fast truck BTW so he knows what hes talking about..i think) Tells me not to bother sending them back with all that hassel because SVT "isn't that hot" what he told me to do is to take it to an engine shop in town and have them bore it our, or port and polish it, to make it better then SVT spec.
Called a few places and this one shop in town said they'll port and polish it for "probably less then $200 CND"...so I think thats the plan, going to head down there tommorow and see what they can do, hopefully make it better then SVT spec.
What do you guys think?
