Another 50 horsepower would do it...

Re: Throttle Response??

do you have an aftermarket intake on the car? if so reinstall the plenum chamber that was above the throttle body from the factory. it makes a huge difference in throttle response.

another 50 horses wouldnt hurt either

Re: Throttle Response??

An aluminum flywheel does wonders for throttle response as well.

Re: Throttle Response??

Yeah, I have a weapon-r secret weapon intake. I'll try the flywheel and the plenum chamber.

Where can you buy horses? Ebay? ;-)

Thanks guys.

Re: Throttle Response??

The single best mod i did for throttle response was to swap the stock throttle body for a Focus central 65mm one.Fitted a dragon weapon R induction kit. Undrivable till you get used to it.

+1

Upgrading to the FC 65mm TB and porting the intake manifold to match it will definately improve throttle response. Although, you might not gain much HP.

Re: Throttle Response??

When you replace the throttle body with the Focus TB is it necessary to also replace the intake manifold or will it still run smooth and everything?
