Fits straight onto the stock manifold, and runs smooth as silk

Re: Throttle Response??

Also, try doing a search for optimizing your stock TB. Pretty much free, and will increase throttle response. Not as much as the 65mm upgrade, but hundreds of dollars less.

Re: Throttle Response??

Where can I get that done in Maine Gtown, haha, since you would be one of the only ones on here to know, and PID is the throttle response a huge difference with the Focus TB and where can I find one of those. Thank you much.

Re: Throttle Response??

The difference is amazing Couged207, as i said in a previous post, the car is virtually undriveable until you get used to it, the response is so instant. I don't know where you would get one from as i am in England and i bought mine second hand from a guy who decided he wanted a V6 . Cost me £100. = $200 i guess.
I'd say best bet is ebay, but try ebay.co.uk as they do seem to show up more over here i think.

Just to clarify, the Focus-Central 65mm Throttle Body is an aftermarket TB for the focus. I wasn't sure if you thought we meant the stock Focus TB. You could go to focaljet.com and check out some of their sponsors. There are some places that sell them.

Re: Throttle Response??

Thanks a lot guys, I think i'm going to look into this upgrade before I get my header. So it sounds like its a quick install and works wonders!! I know i sound like a broken record but i'm just making sure, haha, this requires only the TB no other mods and goes right on?? Hahaha, a quick little Recap, being 17 i cant throw my money around!!!! Thanks guys.
