Re: how to remove enigne without dropping subframe...

well its out, i did it without doin the trans.. wasnt bad at al actually, the only thing that held me up was the a/c compressor cuz one of the mounting bolts was stripped, so i... winged it... yea so otherwise, it was a breeze.

Congrats!

You got the engine going, but what is the status of the turbo setup?

Re: how to remove enigne without dropping subframe...

status on turbo set-up... ive got the mounting flange welded onto the exhaust manifold, need to weld on the wastegate flange, i need to cut my pipes and order some couplings, need to figure out how to mount the intercooler, need to figure out what to do about a tune, thats about it. still a good amount of work. ive been busy with life so i havent really had alot of time to get anything done. but its slowly coming along.

Re: how to remove enigne without dropping subframe...

did another compression test yesterday... 205psi cyl 1, 210 cly 2, 210 cly 3, 190 cly 4. that made me very happy, i wish cly 4 would have 200 also, but its still great!
