well i have to get the ecu reprogramed because in the state of arizona if ur poping a CEL u will automatically fail emissions

I find that hard to believe. ( ghost voice ) "If you fix it, cel will go away"

Seriously, open the cam sproket a little. Check the tension of the belt. If the tension is failing, car may start and run poor or just keep turning.

the belt is perfect the tension is great and no it doesnt run at all it wont start..... and yes in the state of Az they plug into your comp and if u have a CEL there computer will fail you I know this i failed emissions this year because i had two bad plugs misfireing

To fix it that would involve not doin the VCT delete Did u even read the forum before u opened ur mouth?? Im doin a VCT delete the only way to fix the CEL is to reprogram the ECU

I have the VCT delete kit and I have the VCT disabled in my program, but now I'm getting a CEL code for the cam position sensor. Its not as simple as changing a 1 to a 0, which is all I though I was going to have to do. I did get a response on the SCT forum that explained a method where you keep the VCT enabled and just change the VCT cam angles and some other values.

Lol Fix your car first, then play with the vct delete.

Yea thats it buy the vct selonoid to fix my car and then delete it do u even see what ur writing or do u blind type

my vct selonoid went bad so im gonna delete the vct and do my timing that will fix the car but intern make the CEL pop like i said did u even read this forum before u typed

And that is exactly what im buyin the sct for............but i also am gonna put an adjustable cam gear on that cam and the only way to do that is to delete the vct...............did u buy the sct for ur car??? i talked with another guy that told me he bought an sct and it fixed all that
