Hey I wouldn't get this much heat if I stepped down to a 1.5"... whut gives?
I could run without headers and you'd probably think it better than having 3"
yeah its useless right now... maybe a 5hp gain tops... but F/I to come with in the next year
God-willing wouldn't be too bad, sure maybe $100 more than a 2.5" set up if that...
heres my point... the pure novelty of it will make it worth while... ****s and grins is why I would do anything with the cougar
I enjoy it very much so as is, but slap some exhaust that I can fit my foot in, sir there is no price too great for that.
But really Dan, just thought It'd be nice to be different... if it makes you feel better we can fight with math over cubic feet per minute.... heck I think it be cool to know how much HP you would need to create a certain pressure drop/increase using various sizes of tubing.... I'll get on that tommorow maybe...
but we could use the injector create such and such hp with such and such pounds of fuel per hour, convert to metric, then to minutes, then calculate the moles of gasoline, then calculate the stociometric air to fuel ratio just to keep it simple, you could use the moles of gas after combustion to figure out how many square feet of exhuast per minute
then use manufacturers or what ever common knowledge out there for pipes with such and such a diameter and what will flow with such and such a pressure drop/build up
or we could do even more math.... but beyond calculating the pure volume of gas per minute.... the whole pressure area thing I am sort'a rusty with... and can't fathom how to figure out resistance/impeadence on a certain diameter other than looking it up...
Math War in the exhaust thread ??

nah I had fun the last go around... a great learning experiance for all....
