Yes, Americans are complaining over $4.00 a gallon gas prices....
$3.98 last time I filled up to be exact. I know europe has had much higher prices than us for a long time, most countries have higher gas prices. When I went to the bahamas about 8 years ago they were paying about what we are now, so I can't imagine what it costs now.
You have to remember americans are... how should I put this
... spoiled & whine when things don't go their way. But remember, compared to what we are accustomed to paying for gas, it is high. When I started driver gas was about $1 a gallon, that was only 5-6 years ago.
People in america have it easy in many ways & complain when things go down hill even a little. Here the edge od what is "acceptable" for far to many people are huge SUV's that are lucky to manage low teens for gas milage.
Personally I would love a small care like a Smart Roadster. Over here though, espcially 6-10 years ago, when cougars were being built they were on the small end.
