Besides that he bought the car this way, the battery gets relocated for a reason -- weight distribution. It's not like people like to randomly spend a few hundred bucks to move their battery for the fun of it. :P
Definately go CAI, the performance gains are well worth it, and then you can start to worry about how to make it pretty.
