They aren't well-engineered. They are thrown together by a fly-by-night company who subsists by taking money from kids who are dirt poor, but want what they saw in
The Fast & the Furious. Kids with no money and less brains. Tuners. Posers. Ricers. Wannabes.
Automotive suspension is a TERRIBLY precise affair. When you consider the abuse it takes, and the disaster that can occur if it fails, why would you want to cheap out?
If a cold-air intake is junk, big deal. Worst case scenario, it damages your engine, and you can't drive anymore. If their "Xenon HID projectors" fail - hey, whatever. You just look stupid. But if your suspension breaks, you HIT A WALL, or ANOTHER CAR, or a RIVER, or a PEDESTRIAN, at TOP SPEED.
When it comes to auto parts, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Sometimes cheap is OK. But not in this case. Just say no.
Riding on stock suspension for a while longer sure beats dying... or killing.
