This might be a bit overkill, but I would change the engine oil, and trans fluid, and put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank. Then just try to drive it around or atleast start up once a month until it gets to normal operating temperature. I think I saw that you have it on a trailer right now, but if you park in on the ground don't park it on the grass because the extra moisture will help rust up everything really nice, which would make the swap even harder. If you move the car it will also help the tires from getting a flat side.
