A custom tune chip will always help a little. But you may want to consider how much more you are going to do, and then go for something you can easily adjust. The Xcal is a good investment due to it's ability to tune and change settings as you need to. Most places will give you a few tunes to start with. exp. tune for 87 and 94 octane or larger injectors, headers. So you can plan ahead. I got mine from brenspeed, really made a difference in my mid rpm power!
BTW: the dual exhast wont make a difference on the ecu tune, it is based more on direct engine mods. Like the SVT stuff and CAI, or Headers, F/I, that kind of stuff.
