Yeah, what's up with that? I see burned out brake lights all the time here, and sometimes I wonder if that's related to the fact that we don't have an annual safety inspection that would check that. (In Maryland you only have to have cars inspected when they are sold or when you bring a used vehicle into the state.)

I was complaining about it one day to my coworkers, and one of them was like, "I don't know how to check that my brake lights are working!" I thought, "I live alone, and all of mine are all working, and I check them regularly. You have a husband and daughter living with you, and you can't figure out how to check your brake lights?"
