Re: Project: Mavro Gato (56K ... Get a cup of coffee)

Well, I have been working since 9:30AM this morning and made a lot of headway. However, I exhausted (no pun intended), and stopping for the day. So, on to the pictures:

Up-pipe tacked up, turbo fitted and down-pipe tacked up as well.

Another view of up-pipe & down-pipe fitment.

Final turbo placement.

Up-pipe fully welded.

Another angle of the up-pipe.

Down-pipe fully welded as well.

Another angle of the down-pipe.

Last angle shot of the down-pipe showing the compound bend that was welded to allow plenty of clearance of the radiator tube and the fuse box panel.

And finally, a picture of the up-pipe "test pipe" I used to blow everything out of the pipes and to leak test.

And now for the video of me starting the car: 6.12MB WMV file (Right click save as).

Well, breaks is over ... time to go outside and inspect the up-pipe for exhaust leaks. When I'm done inspecting, I need to mount everything up and start cleaning up. I will take a final picture of the entire setup in the car.
