RE:SVT Upgrades- By request
PMed, posted here for all:
Get the ADC kit- The Vortech kit is a PITA and the smaller amount of money you spend on it quickly balloons to a larger amount than the ADC kit is to begin with, and has everything you need in it. Your setup would only be able to use the T28 kit- The T3/4 is too much for a stock internal engine on a regular basis.
19# injectors are not necessary, nor is the ProFlow. They cause more trouble than they're worth! The injector constant is an ECU setting, and is no more related to the MAF "calibration" than the man in the moon! Save money- Get the SVT Lightning MAF for the turbo kit, as this is the MAF ADC recommends and has the most experience with. Their kit comes with new injectors and the chip with the correct constant for them! Their chip will take care of the whole setup, the S-AFCII can be used for "tweaking" on the dyno once you get a revision or two of the ADC chip to your specific setup. It won't happen in one burn- But remember the S-AFC relies on MAF signal trickery- Not a good solution for more than just a "tweak" of the system.
